Library The guided tour of Leopardi’s places begins in the ancient rooms of the library, which contains over 20,000 volumes, most of which were consulted by Giacomo; this is where the poet studied and trained under the loving guidance of his father Monaldo.
Home Your guide will then take you to the private rooms of the palace, to the garden that inspired the immortal verses of Le ricordanze, to tell you about the life of the young Leopardi brothers and to show you the poet’s apartments.
*Museum (autonomous itinerary) Finally, you can visit this exhibition that brings together a wealth of objects, documents and writings that belonged to Giacomo Leopardi and his family.

RESERVATIONS
Reservations can be made during opening hours on the following telephone number: +39 071 7573380.
Reservations are not compulsory, but strongly recommended. It does not imply prepayment of the ticket, but allows you to reserve your place at the desired time. Reservations can be cancelled by calling the Museum’s ticket office. The deadline for reservations is the day before the visit.
In order for your reservation to be valid, you must arrive at the ticket office at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time to collect and purchase your ticket.
Entrance is restricted to allow for proper use of the space and to protect visitors and operators.
REDUCED PRICE TICKETS
Reduced price tickets
Reduced price tickets are available for the following categories:
- children and young people aged between 6 and 18;
- university students, on presentation of a document (paper or digital) certifying enrolment for the current academic year;
- accompanying person of a disabled person.
Special Family Ticket
This special rate is reserved for households consisting of 2 adults and at least 1 child (children must be between 6 and 18 years old).
10% discount
The following are entitled to a 10% discount on the full price ticket on presentation of a valid ID or membership card:
- members of Touring Club Italiano;
- members of FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano;
- university students;
- Artsupp Card holders.
On presentation of the admission ticket for the relevant museum, the discount is also extended to:
- visitors to the Frasassi Caves. Visitors to Casa Leopardi will receive a €2.00 discount on the full price ticket to the Frasassi Caves (discount not available in August) and free entry to the Speleological and Archaeological Museum of San Vittore delle Chiuse and the Museum « Arte, Storia e Territorio » of Genga.
- visitors to Museo del Balì. Visitors to Casa Leopardi will receive a €2.00 discount on the full general admission ticket (not valid in conjunction with other promotions, not valid for events);
- visitors to the Orto sul Colle dell’Infinito. Visitors to Casa Leopardi will receive a €2.00 discount on the full general admission ticket (not valid in conjunction with other promotions, not valid for events).
FREE ADMISSION
Free admission: children under 6, disabled, ICOM members, residents of Recanati (every first Tuesday of the month).
Discounts cannot be combined. Tickets are not refundable or exchangeable.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Cash at the ticket office, debit card, credit card or bank transfer in advance (groups only). Cheques are not accepted.
