More than two centuries after the poet’s birth, the Leopardi family has opened to the public the most intimate rooms linked to his life. “Ove Abitai Fanciullo” (Where i lived as a child) is an itinerary that gives access to the ceremonial rooms of the palace, the gallery with its art collections, the garden that inspired the immortal verses of Le ricordanze and Leopardi’s apartments.
Looking out of his window, Giacomo used to admire the beloved moon and the vague stars of Ursa, which never ceased to inspire him to compose.
