Library The guided tour of Leopardi’s places begins in the ancient rooms of the library, which contains over 20,000 volumes, most of which were consulted by Giacomo; this is where the poet studied and trained under the loving guidance of his father Monaldo.
Home Your guide will then take you to the private rooms of the palace, to the garden that inspired the immortal verses of Le ricordanze, to tell you about the life of the young Leopardi brothers and to show you the poet’s apartments.

RESERVATIONS
Reservations can be made during opening hours on the following telephone number: +39 071 7573380.
Reservations are not compulsory, but strongly recommended. It does not imply prepayment of the ticket, but allows you to reserve your place at the desired time. Reservations can be cancelled by calling the Museum’s ticket office. The deadline for reservations is the day before the visit.
In order for your reservation to be valid, you must arrive at the ticket office at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time to collect and purchase your ticket.
Entrance is restricted to allow for proper use of the space and to protect visitors and operators.

ACCESS RULES
The following actions are prohibited in the exhibition spaces of Casa Leopardi:
- entering with backpacks, suitcases/trolleys and bulky bags. Only fanny packs and small backpacks may be brought in;
- bringing in animals, with the exception of animals accompanying disabled persons and small animals that can be held by their owners;
- bringing in any object that, due to its characteristics, may pose a risk to the safety of people, the building, the facilities ;
- smoking (the ban is extended to all museum premises such as the ticket office, museum-shop, etc.);
- using mobile phones;
- consuming food and drink.
